Sinhala - Padparadscha Sapphire Chandelier Earrings

Rare Padparadscha Sapphires and pale ballerina Pink Sapphires make these soft petal colored earrings a wonderful way to wrap up one of my last designs of 2020. It's been a dreadful year globally and my inspiration came from the softness of this amazing colors, in hopes to bring a smile to everyone that views these whether or not you would buy them, just admiring them would make me proud. What makes these sapphires so wonderful is that each one will have varying degrees of pink and yellows and when the color collides, it creates this peach like color. The color don't often mix thoroughly, yet it just softly melts allowing you to witness the blending.

The term Padparadscha is derived from the Sinhalese word for the salmon colored lotus blossom that prized through the ages and revered highly amongst the Sinhales people of Sri Lanka and can be found in the Buddhist temples and in many gardens. All are natural sapphires and the size, color, hue and tones will vary just as the color, hues and tones of each lotus petal varies. Hand cut, therefore sizes will also vary. Sterling silver base and 14k gold filled components, meticulously wire wrapped. Limited quantities while supply lasts.

The wire wrapping on my designs is never pre-fabricated or purchased in bulk. I meticulously and thoughtfully wrap each design.
